Actimize Developer
Type: Long-term Contract
Location: Charlotte, NC
Work Setting: Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)


Overview

We are partnering with a leading enterprise financial services organization to bring on an experienced Actimize Developer. This position will play a key role in building and enhancing critical financial crime and compliance technology solutions within a highly collaborative, cloud-focused environment.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on large-scale, high-impact systems supporting fraud prevention and regulatory initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Actimize Case Management (ActOne / RCM) solutions

  • Build and enhance Java-based plugins and custom applications

  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and scalable solutions

  • Participate in system design, coding, testing, debugging, and deployments

  • Contribute to test strategies and ensure high-quality code through unit testing and reviews

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, QA, and business stakeholders

  • Support production issues and contribute to continuous improvement efforts

  • Ensure compliance with security, quality, and enterprise standards


Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of software engineering experience

  • 2+ years working with NICE Actimize (ActOne / RCM)

  • Experience developing Actimize Java plugins

  • Strong Java development experience and understanding of Java memory model

  • 4+ years of SQL experience

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, PCF, etc.)

  • Familiarity with cloud-native and 12-factor application principles

  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, GitHub Actions)

  • Experience with test frameworks (JUnit, TestNG, Selenium, Cucumber, etc.)

  • Hands-on experience with Kafka and modern data platforms

  • Experience working in Agile environments


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with enterprise database platforms (Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB)

  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills in complex environments

  • Experience working in large-scale financial services or regulated environments
