Job Description


Job Title: Asset Management Analyst

Location: Plano, TX

Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite

Duration: 12-Month Contract

Compensation: Competitive Hourly Rate

Overview

Our client is seeking an Asset Management Analyst to support fixed asset accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records related to company assets. This position is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys working with asset management processes, financial reporting, compliance, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update fixed asset records and asset registers
  • Track asset acquisitions, transfers, depreciation, and disposals
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close activities
  • Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting for capital expenditures
  • Support lease accounting administration and reporting
  • Coordinate asset audits and inventory verification activities
  • Respond to internal and external audit requests
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • 3-7 years of accounting experience
  • At least 1 year of hands-on fixed asset accounting experience
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications
  • CPA certification
  • Public accounting experience
  • SAP ERP experience
  • Lease accounting experience (ASC 842)
  • Experience supporting large corporate environments
