Cloud Solutions Architect

Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid)
Schedule: Full-Time
Duration: Long-Term Contract

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to support and enhance a complex enterprise cloud environment. This role will focus on cloud architecture, AI and data platform initiatives, infrastructure reliability, security, monitoring, and operational excellence across modern cloud technologies.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and support cloud-based solutions across enterprise environments.
  • Provide architecture guidance for cloud infrastructure, data platforms, and AI-enabled solutions.
  • Support monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational health across cloud services.
  • Manage and optimize cloud storage, data lakes, and analytics platforms.
  • Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, data, and business teams to deliver scalable solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues while maintaining platform stability.
  • Implement security, identity management, compliance, and governance best practices.
  • Support enterprise integration platforms, APIs, and data movement processes.
  • Participate in architecture reviews, operational planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of cloud architecture and engineering experience.
  • Strong experience supporting enterprise cloud environments, including Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Experience with AI and machine learning platforms in enterprise environments.
  • Expertise in cloud monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational support.
  • Experience supporting large-scale data platforms, analytics environments, and data pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM, compliance, and governance frameworks.
  • Experience troubleshooting and supporting production environments.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with business intelligence and cloud analytics platforms.
  • Knowledge of geospatial or location-based data solutions.
  • Scripting and automation experience using Python, Bash, or similar technologies.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Familiarity with ETL/ELT frameworks, API integrations, and modern data architectures.
  • Experience leading cross-functional technical initiatives.
