Human Capital Management (HCM) Training Specialist Location: Georgia (Hybrid – local candidates only) Position Type: Contract Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and data-driven HCM Training Specialist to support the implementation and adoption of a modern Human Resources Information System (HRIS), with a strong focus on talent acquisition and performance management programs.
This role is ideal for someone who is technically savvy, innovative, and experienced in delivering training across multiple formats. You will play a key role in helping teams effectively utilize HR systems and improve workforce processes through education and support. Key Responsibilities
Deliver training and develop content related to a modern HRIS platform (Workday-based)
Provide guidance to recruiters on:
Talent pool optimization
Interviewing and hiring best practices
Internship program development
Efficient use of HR systems to streamline recruiting
Research and implement training best practices to enhance program effectiveness
Analyze HR system data and produce reports, dashboards, and presentations
Maintain and update training materials, including courses, exercises, and documentation
Conduct instructor-led training sessions (virtual and in-person)
Facilitate hands-on learning using system training environments
Support administration of the Learning Management System (LMS), including enrollments and course management
Respond to requests from stakeholders and provide ongoing training support
Assist with additional training and HR initiatives as needed
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED and 3+ years of relevant HR or training experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Experience delivering training across multiple formats (in-person, virtual, multimedia)
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage audiences at all levels
Strong organizational and program coordination skills
Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with Workday (Core HCM, Compensation, Talent, or related modules)
HRIS training or system implementation experience
Background in talent acquisition or performance management programs
Work Environment
Hybrid work environment (mix of remote and onsite work)
