  • Ensure delivered data products meet business, regulatory, quality, lineage, and timeliness requirements.

  • Establish source-of-record priorities, survivorship rules, deduplication logic, and exception-handling processes.
  • Develop reusable advisor-data products for CRM, compensation, compliance, reporting, and workstation consumers.
Data Analysis and Documentation
  • Perform hands-on, field-level analysis of source systems, vendor feeds, schemas, and downstream data.
  • Investigate data-quality issues, missing values, conflicting records, duplicates, and integration failures.
  • Produce business requirements, data-intake documentation, attribute definitions, lineage diagrams, and nonfunctional requirements.
  • Define data-quality rules, controls, monitoring requirements, and service-level expectations.
  • Partner with Data Governance teams to establish ownership, metadata, standards, and authoritative sources.
Integrations and Data Architecture
  • Define integration requirements using event streaming, APIs, batch processes, and file-based delivery.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on Kafka topics, schemas, versioning, replay, retention, and change management.

Stakeholder Management
  • Partner with advisory and sales leadership, Compliance, Compensation, Operations, Risk, Vendor Management, Data Governance, and Engineering.
  • Facilitate discussions regarding data sourcing, business usage, controls, and regulatory requirements.
  • Document decisions, assumptions, dependencies, and unresolved issues.
  • Communicate complex data concepts clearly to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Governance, Risk, and Controls
  • Embed lineage, metadata, auditability, and traceability throughout advisor-data processes.
  • Support regulatory recordkeeping and controls related to licensing, onboarding, transfers, compensation, and advisor-data changes.
  • Partner with Compliance teams on access, entitlements, licensing restrictions, and sensitive-data handling.
  • Use AI responsibly to improve requirements and identify data-quality patterns while protecting regulated information.
Required Qualifications
