HRIS Support Analyst Location: Louisville, KY 40222 Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Work Arrangement: On-site, five days per week NOT ACCEPTING 3RD PARTY CANDIDATES
Position Summary
The HRIS Application Support Analyst provides day-to-day production and user support for the organization’s human resources technology systems, including the Human Resources Information System, Learning Management System, and Applicant Tracking System.
This role serves as a technical application-support resource for HR users. The analyst will respond to system requests, troubleshoot application and data issues, complete scheduled system activities, and help ensure the organization’s HR platforms remain accurate, accessible, and operational.
This is not a software development or infrastructure position. It is best suited for someone with experience supporting HR applications, resolving user issues, and working with system data, workflows, permissions, and business processes.
Key Responsibilities
Provide daily production support for the HRIS, Learning Management System, and Applicant Tracking System.
Respond to user questions and support requests received by phone, email, or internal ticketing channels.
Research, troubleshoot, and resolve system, data, access, workflow, and application-related issues.
Escalate complex technical issues to internal teams or system vendors when necessary.
Perform scheduled system activities, including mass data updates, imports, audits, and routine maintenance tasks.
Assist users with navigation, system functionality, reporting, and established HR technology processes.
Investigate data discrepancies and help maintain the accuracy and integrity of employee and applicant information.
Document support activity, issue resolutions, recurring problems, and standard operating procedures.
Coordinate with HR, payroll, recruiting, learning and development, and IT stakeholders to resolve application issues.
Support system testing, upgrades, patches, configuration changes, and process improvements as assigned.
Maintain confidentiality when handling employee, applicant, and other sensitive HR data.
Required Qualifications
Experience supporting an HRIS, Applicant Tracking System, Learning Management System, or similar enterprise business application.
Experience providing application or production support to end users.
Ability to troubleshoot system, data, workflow, access, and user-related issues.
Experience processing data updates, mass changes, imports, or other scheduled system activities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple requests and priorities in a service-oriented environment.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
Familiarity with HR, recruiting, onboarding, learning, payroll, or employee-data processes.
Experience working with support tickets, issue tracking, or service-management tools.
Experience with system testing, data validation, reporting, or user acceptance testing.
Familiarity with role-based security, permissions, workflows, interfaces, or system integrations.
Experience supporting system upgrades, implementations, or enhancement projects.
