Business Analyst – Data & Analytics (2–5 Years Experience)

Position Overview
We are seeking a Business Analyst with a strong data and analytics background to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. This role will focus on gathering requirements, analyzing business processes, defining reporting needs, and translating business objectives into actionable analytics solutions.
The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen with analytical skills and enjoys working with stakeholders across the organization to drive data-informed decision-making. This position is ideal for someone who can understand business challenges, identify opportunities for improvement, and leverage data to support strategic initiatives.
What You'll Do
Partner with business stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize business and reporting requirements
Translate business needs into functional specifications, reporting logic, KPIs, and analytics solutions
Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for operational improvements and automation
Support data-driven initiatives by evaluating business performance, trends, and key metrics
Collaborate with data, analytics, and technology teams to ensure requirements are accurately implemented
Facilitate discussions between technical and non-technical stakeholders to align business objectives and solutions
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance metrics that support decision-making
Validate data quality and ensure reporting accuracy across business functions
Support user acceptance testing (UAT), requirements validation, and solution deployment activities
Assist with data governance, business definitions, and documentation efforts
What We're Looking For
2–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or Analytics-focused Business Analyst
Experience gathering and documenting business requirements and translating them into technical solutions
Strong SQL skills for data analysis, validation, and reporting
Rx or Pharmaceutical industry experience required
Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms
Strong understanding of KPIs, business metrics, and reporting methodologies
Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders
Experience supporting cross-functional projects and business process improvement initiatives
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Experience working within Agile or fast-paced project environments
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting enterprise-scale analytics or reporting initiatives
Familiarity with data governance, data management, and master data concepts
Exposure to cloud-based data platforms and modern analytics environments
Experience with UAT planning, testing, and stakeholder training
Knowledge of healthcare, pharmaceutical operations, commercial analytics, or related business functions
