Only accepting local candidates to the Columbia. SC Area Overview We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Administrator / Web Applications Administrator to support enterprise internet, intranet, and collaboration platforms within a highly secure and technology-driven environment.
This role will be responsible for administering, maintaining, and supporting SharePoint environments, web applications, and supporting infrastructure. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with SharePoint Server, SharePoint Online, IIS, Windows Server administration, and enterprise web technologies.
This position offers the opportunity to work on complex technology initiatives while supporting mission-critical systems and collaborating with a highly skilled technical team. Key ResponsibilitiesSharePoint Administration
Administer, maintain, and support SharePoint Server and SharePoint Online environments
Lead planning, deployment, testing, and implementation of monthly SharePoint updates and patches
Support both test and production SharePoint environments
Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint platform issues and performance concerns
Web & Intranet Support
Support the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of internet and intranet solutions
Coordinate web content management and website support activities
Assist users with content publishing and web-based applications
Ensure web applications align with security and operational standards
Infrastructure & Technical Support
Install, administer, and support supporting server infrastructure and application environments
Provide second-level technical support for enterprise web and SharePoint applications
Support IIS and Windows Server environments
Assist with cloud-based solutions and modern collaboration technologies
Leadership & Collaboration
Serve as a technical resource and mentor for junior team members
Collaborate with IT teams, stakeholders, and business units to support enterprise initiatives
Participate in project planning, implementation, and continuous improvement efforts
Required Qualifications
7+ years of experience with:
SharePoint Server 2019
SharePoint Online
IIS Administration
Windows Server Administration (2019 or newer)
7+ years of experience supporting enterprise web applications and collaboration platforms
Experience working within state government or highly regulated environments
Strong troubleshooting and technical support skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with cloud-based solutions and platforms
