Business Systems Analyst | Process Optimization, Data Analysis & Technology Enablement Location: Santa Ana, CA
3 month contract 
CornerStone TTS is partnering with a leading enterprise organization seeking a Business Systems Analyst who thrives at the intersection of business operations, technology, process improvement, and data-driven decision making.

This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy translating complex business challenges into scalable solutions, partnering with stakeholders across business and technology teams, and driving initiatives that improve operational efficiency, reporting, and system effectiveness.
What You'll Be Doing
  • Partner with business leaders, SMEs, product teams, technology teams, and data stakeholders to identify business challenges and define solution strategies.
  • Analyze current-state processes, workflows, systems, and reporting structures to uncover inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, requirements workshops, and process reviews.
  • Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements including:
    • Business Requirements
    • Functional Requirements
    • Non-Functional Requirements
    • User Stories
    • Acceptance Criteria
    • Data Requirements
    • Reporting Requirements
  • Develop process maps, workflow diagrams, context diagrams, use cases, and future-state solution documentation.
  • Bridge communication between business and technical teams to ensure requirements are understood, testable, and implementation-ready.
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends, support decision making, validate business assumptions, and drive recommendations.
  • Support testing initiatives including QA validation, UAT preparation, defect tracking, and implementation readiness.
  • Create training materials, process documentation, stakeholder presentations, and operational support documentation.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and continuous enhancement of business analysis practices.
What We're Looking For Core Business Analysis Expertise
  • 3-5+ years of Business Analysis, Business Systems Analysis, Process Improvement, or Systems Analysis experience.
  • Strong requirements gathering and stakeholder management experience.
  • Ability to translate business objectives into technical and operational solutions.
  • Experience documenting current-state and future-state business processes.

  • Ability to create technical-ready documentation for development, reporting, integration, and product teams.
