Job Title: IT Infrastructure Engineer (Security-Focused)
Location: Grapevine, TX (Onsite with hybrid flexibility)
Compensation: $110K–$140K + Benefits
Overview
We are seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer to support and secure enterprise systems in a fast-paced production environment. This role focuses on maintaining system stability, applying security updates, and resolving vulnerabilities across core infrastructure.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a strong systems administration background and a passion for infrastructure security.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage patching and updates across servers and applications
  • Identify and remediate vulnerabilities from security scans
  • Support production infrastructure and troubleshoot system issues
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure systems are secure, stable, and compliant
  • Support incident response and recovery efforts
  • Maintain documentation for audit and compliance purposes
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in systems administration or infrastructure engineering
  • Strong experience with Windows Server environments
  • Experience with patch management and production system updates
  • Experience working with vulnerability remediation
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with ticketing and change management systems
Preferred Experience
  • Linux administration
  • Virtualization (VMware or Hyper-V)
  • Security tools (Nessus, Qualys, Rapid7)
  • Scripting (PowerShell, Bash)
  • Exposure to security frameworks or compliance environments
