About the Opportunity
CornerStone Technology Talent Services (TTS) is seeking a results-driven Network Administrator Consultant with experience in Microsoft Azure, cloud storage, and secure network infrastructure. This role supports a large-scale, multi-site environment with enterprise-level cloud migration, data center integration, and security-critical infrastructure across over 60 distributed locations. You will play a critical role in modernizing how technology supports essential public services by leveraging Azure-based solutions and Microsoft 365 environments.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, administer, and optimize enterprise-level Azure cloud services, including storage, identity, and networking components

  • Lead cloud data migration efforts in collaboration with infrastructure and security teams

  • Support the deployment and administration of Microsoft 365, Office 365, MS Teams, SharePoint Online, and related platforms

  • Monitor system performance, analyze integration impacts, and recommend improvements across a hybrid cloud/data center environment

  • Implement and manage security controls in alignment with state and federal compliance standards

  • Administer user access, security policies (GPO), authentication systems, and shared resource lifecycles

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable system performance

  • Contribute to automation initiatives using PowerShell and monitor critical communications infrastructure, including fax and endpoint services

  • Serve as a knowledge resource and mentor for junior team members

What You Bring

  • 2–4 years of experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services, virtualization, and M365 administration

  • 2–4 years working with Active Directory and Office 365 platforms

  • Experience scripting in PowerShell to automate and streamline admin tasks

  • Understanding of open-source frameworks, including ASP.NET

  • Proven experience supporting enterprise systems and remote endpoints across a distributed network

  • 3+ years of experience working with Proofpoint or equivalent enterprise email security platforms

Preferred Expertise

  • Familiarity with data center and networking infrastructure (routing, switching, firewalls)

  • Experience with user/group authentication systems, access management, and GPO policy enforcement

  • Knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript, and SQL Server for light troubleshooting and integration awareness

Ideal Profile

  • Strong cross-team communicator who can clearly articulate infrastructure decisions and technical strategies

  • Solid documentation practices and the ability to deliver clear operational reporting

  • Comfortable working off-hours/weekends as needed for critical implementations or scheduled maintenance

  • Mentor-minded and highly collaborative across security, infrastructure, and help desk teams

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and driven to deliver stable, secure systems that perform
