PeopleSoft Financials Reporting Analyst (CAPPS / FSCM 9.2) Location: Remote (Continental United States) Position Type: Long-Term Contract Overview We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Financials Reporting Analyst to support a large enterprise ERP environment utilizing PeopleSoft Financials (FSCM 9.2). This role focuses on the development, enhancement, maintenance, and support of enterprise reporting solutions supporting finance, accounting, procurement, asset management, and related business functions.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience developing complex PeopleSoft Financials reports, working with cross-functional business teams, and supporting enterprise ERP environments through upgrades, testing, and ongoing production support. Key Responsibilities
Reporting Development
Design, develop, and maintain reports utilizing:
PeopleSoft Query Manager / Query Viewer
BI Publisher (XML Publisher)
PS Query with complex joins and expressions
SAP Business Objects
Translate business requirements into technical reporting solutions
Develop report templates, layouts, and automated reporting processes
Optimize report performance for enterprise-scale datasets
Financial Systems Analysis
Analyze complex PeopleSoft Financials data structures, including effective-dated records and table relationships
Develop reporting solutions across multiple Financials modules including:
General Ledger
Accounts Payable
Purchasing
Asset Management
Commitment Accounting
Project Costing
Contracts
Grants
Inventory
Travel & Expense
Accounts Receivable / Billing
Ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and compliance with business requirements
Testing & Production Support
Participate in:
User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Regression Testing
Upgrade and patch validation
Support reporting during application upgrades, releases, and enhancement projects
Troubleshoot reporting issues and resolve production defects
Provide advanced end-user support and reporting guidance
Documentation & Governance
Create and maintain:
Functional specifications
Report inventories
Data dictionaries
Technical documentation
Test plans
User documentation
Ensure reports comply with accessibility, security, and data governance standards
Support audit, disaster recovery, and enterprise reporting initiatives
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with business users, functional analysts, developers, and support teams
Gather reporting requirements and recommend technical solutions
Present reporting solutions and recommendations to business stakeholders
Participate in enterprise projects, system enhancements, and financial year-end activities
Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience supporting PeopleSoft Financials 9.2 reporting
