Enterprise Business Project Manager – Wholesale Payments Location: Atlanta, GA / Charlotte, NC Position Type: Contract with possibility of Converting to Full-time

Overview We are seeking a senior-level Enterprise Business Project Manager to support large-scale initiatives within a Wholesale Payments organization.
This role will lead enterprise programs across areas such as:
Commercial Cards
Merchant Services
Treasury Services
Receivables & Payables
Digital Payment Channels
The ideal candidate is a strong enterprise PM with excellent executive presence, governance expertise, and the ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives in highly matrixed financial services environments. Key ResponsibilitiesEnterprise Project Leadership
Lead projects through full lifecycle phases:
Initiation
Planning
Execution
Delivery & Realization
Build projects from startup through execution and operational readiness
Develop integrated project plans, governance models, and execution frameworks
Stakeholder & Governance Management
Partner with business sponsors, technology teams, risk, compliance, operations, and leadership teams
Establish governance structures and working group cadences
Lead executive meetings, project leadership sessions, and workstream coordination activities
Drive accountability across large stakeholder groups
Execution & Delivery
Manage:
Risks
Issues
Dependencies
Escalations
Mitigation planning
Deliver executive dashboards, status reporting, and project documentation
Coordinate commercialization, client readiness, operational readiness, and compliance activities
Required Qualifications
10+ years of Project Management experience
5+ years of Banking or Financial Services experience
Experience leading enterprise-scale cross-functional initiatives
Strong governance, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills
Experience managing complex projects within matrixed organizations
