Report Data Architect (Remote | Contract) Design the Data Foundation That Powers Enterprise Decision-Making
CornerStone Technology Talent Services is partnering with an enterprise organization seeking a highly experienced Report Data Architect to design and modernize the data architecture behind enterprise reporting, analytics, and business intelligence.

This is an opportunity for a senior data professional who understands that great reporting begins with exceptional data architecture. You'll help build scalable reporting models, modernize enterprise data environments, and create reusable data assets that enable business leaders to make faster, smarter decisions.

Location
  • Remote (Texas preferred)
  • Standard business hours (Monday-Friday)
  • Occasional after-hours support as needed
Contract
  • Initial 1-month engagement
  • Strong potential for long-term extensions based on project needs and performance
  • Full-time consulting opportunity

What You'll Do
You'll serve as the technical authority responsible for designing enterprise reporting architecture that supports executive dashboards, operational reporting, and business intelligence initiatives.

Responsibilities include:
  • Design scalable enterprise reporting data models
  • Build dimensional models including Star Schema and Snowflake Schema
  • Develop semantic layers and reporting datasets for analytics platforms
  • Translate business requirements into scalable reporting architecture
  • Design efficient ETL/ELT integration strategies alongside data engineering teams
  • Establish enterprise data modeling standards and architectural best practices
  • Create reusable datasets for Power BI and modern BI platforms
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, governance, and metadata standards
  • Partner with business leaders to define KPIs, reporting metrics, and analytical models
  • Provide technical leadership on reporting architecture and enterprise analytics initiatives
  • Troubleshoot complex enterprise data issues and recommend long-term architectural improvements
  • Mentor report developers, BI engineers, and analysts on data modeling best practices
