About the Role
CornerStone Technology Talent Services (TTS) is seeking a Project Manager with deep SAP implementation experience, ideally in financial and treasury modules, to lead a high-impact enterprise transformation. In this role, you will help execute a large-scale migration from legacy systems into a unified statewide ERP platform that serves as the system of record for finance, procurement, HR, and treasury operations. This is a long-term opportunity supporting public-sector modernization at scale, with the potential for extension.

You’ll coordinate with cross-functional leads and stakeholders at the enterprise level, working on a complex SAP integration that directly supports digital transformation and financial operations continuity. The ideal candidate combines hands-on SAP project execution experience with the ability to lead through influence, plan across multiple workstreams, and manage risk in a structured, transparent way.

What You’ll Tackle

  • Drive full-lifecycle project delivery across multiple financial and treasury SAP modules, integrating into a central statewide ERP platform

  • Lead stakeholder communication, status reporting, milestone management, and issue escalation for SAP-related workstreams

  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to align planning, timelines, and resourcing

  • Coordinate interagency relationships and dependencies related to SAP Financial Management implementation

  • Ensure documentation and process tracking are captured according to PMO best practices

  • Monitor scope, risk, and change management, proactively resolving blockers with minimal business disruption

  • Provide structured project closeout deliverables, including lessons learned, stakeholder sign-offs, and documentation archiving

  • Recommend best practices for SAP portfolio and program management in complex state enterprise environments

Key Experience Required

  • 5+ years of hands-on SAP project management experience

  • Proven track record managing SAP ERP implementations, with a focus on financial or treasury modules

  • Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Project for scheduling, dependencies, and milestone tracking

  • Ability to lead cross-functional project teams in highly regulated or complex organizations

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present risks, impacts, and solutions to senior stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP FI and Treasury Management (TRM) modules, including configuration and integration planning

  • Familiarity with process mapping and documentation tools such as MS Visio

  • Background in public-sector, state, or federal ERP programs

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field

  • PMP or PMI-aligned project management certification (required)

Work Environment & Team Structure

  • Business casual setting

  • Team of approximately 70 professionals

  • Hybrid work based out of Columbia, SC (on-site presence required for key meetings and milestones)
