Senior AI Solutions Engineer
Location: Plano, TX / Dallas, TX
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – Regular Onsite Collaboration with Client Required
Employment Type: Full-Time / Contract-to-Hire
Compensation: $120,000–$150,000 Base + 10% Bonus
Work Authorization Requirements

About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior AI Solutions Engineer to join a growing technology team focused on building practical AI-powered solutions that improve business operations, automate workflows, and enhance customer experiences.

This is not a research-focused AI role. We are looking for an engineer who enjoys solving real business problems through software development, cloud technologies, automation, and AI integration.

You will work closely with business leaders, product stakeholders, and engineering teams to design, build, deploy, and support AI-enabled applications and workflow solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering skills with a practical understanding of how AI can be applied to business processes and customer workflows.

This position requires regular onsite collaboration with our client and internal leadership team in the Dallas/Plano area.
What You'll Do

  • Design and develop AI-enabled software solutions and workflow automation platforms

  • Build and maintain integrations with AI services, APIs, and enterprise systems

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions

  • Develop, test, debug, and deploy cloud-based applications and services

  • Support AWS infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and operational excellence initiatives

  • Participate in architecture discussions, sprint planning, and technical reviews

  • Implement secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions aligned with compliance and governance standards

  • Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend practical applications that create business value

  • Contribute to platform reliability, monitoring, and continuous improvement efforts
Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience

  • Experience developing and deploying applications in AWS environments

  • Strong proficiency with Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or similar modern programming languages

  • Experience building and consuming APIs and system integrations

  • Experience implementing automation, workflow orchestration, or AI-enabled business solutions

  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture, application deployment, and DevOps principles

  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Proven ability to operate independently in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments

  • Experience working directly with business users, customers, or product teams to deliver technical solutions
Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Agentic AI architectures

  • Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)

  • Experience with AI orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel, MCP, or similar technologies

  • Experience with workflow automation and intelligent process automation platforms

  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD tooling

  • Experience supporting security, compliance, or NIST-aligned environments

  • Startup, consulting, or customer-facing software delivery experience
