Senior ERP Financial Systems Analyst (PeopleSoft FSCM)
Location: Remote (Continental United States)
Position Type: Long-Term Contract

Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior ERP Financial Systems Analyst to support a large-scale PeopleSoft Financials ERP environment. This role will serve as a senior functional subject matter expert for the Accounts Payable module within PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2, supporting configuration, production support, batch monitoring, testing, reporting, audit readiness, and cross-module financial operations.

The ideal candidate has deep CAPPS Financials experience, strong Texas public sector ERP knowledge, and the ability to support complex statewide financial systems with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the functional SME for PeopleSoft/CAPPS Accounts Payable
  • Configure and support AP setup, vendor management, voucher processing, matching, approvals, withholding, payments, cancellations, reissues, and month-end/year-end activities
  • Monitor AP batch jobs, schedules, dependencies, failures, outputs, and escalations
  • Support integrations across AP, Purchasing, General Ledger, Asset Management, Commitment Control, Cash Receipts, Project Costing, and legacy systems
  • Provide Level 2 production support, issue resolution, incident management, and user support
  • Create and review Functional Design Documents and support configuration changes
  • Conduct UAT, regression testing, disaster recovery testing, and upgrade/patch validation
  • Support fiscal year-end planning, reconciliations, verifications, reporting, and system maintenance
  • Prepare executive-level presentations and support audits, open records requests, and compliance activities
  • Ensure materials meet WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards
Required Qualifications
  • 12+ years of experience with PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 Accounts Payable
  • Extensive CAPPS Financials experience
  • Strong knowledge of State of Texas financial policies and statewide ERP processes
  • Experience with PeopleSoft configuration, batch jobs, PUM, Fluid, Elastic Search, and production support
  • Technical familiarity with Application Designer, Integration Broker, SQR, SQL, BI Publisher, and SAP Business Objects
  • Experience supporting Tier 2 service desk operations for large multi-agency environments
  • Experience with ITIL, ITSM, ITAM, NIST, security best practices, and multi-tenancy requirements
  • Experience supporting fiscal year-end, disaster recovery, audits, and major incident management
  • Strong communication, documentation, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with PeopleSoft FSCM modules including:
    • General Ledger
    • Asset Management
    • Purchasing / eProcurement
    • Accounts Receivable / Billing
    • Inventory
    • Project Costing
    • Strategic Sourcing
    • Travel & Expense
  • Experience supporting legacy statewide financial systems
  • Experience providing training and cross-training to junior analysts and agency users
Work Environment
  • Remote within the continental United States
  • Standard business hours, Monday–Friday
  • Occasional after-hours, weekend, or holiday support may be required
  • May require occasional onsite presence based on business needs
  • Long-term contract with extension potential

  • Strong background supporting statewide or large public sector ERP environments
  • Comfortable working independently with complex production systems
  • Strong communicator who can work with agencies, vendors, technical teams, and leadership
  • Detail-oriented, process-driven, and experienced in regulated financial environments
