Senior Quality Assurance Analyst Location: Columbia, SC (Onsite) Position Type: Contract Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to support enterprise healthcare technology initiatives within a large-scale Medicaid environment.
This role will focus on quality assurance, test planning, test automation, system validation, and defect management across enrollment, eligibility, claims processing, and workflow management systems. The ideal candidate has strong experience with enterprise testing methodologies, automation frameworks, and healthcare-related systems.

Develop and execute:
Test plans
Test cases
Test scenarios
QA and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes
Perform:
Smoke Testing
System Integration Testing (SIT)
End-to-End Testing
Regression Testing
Negative Testing
Usability Testing
Validate application reliability, stability, and performance
Test Automation
Design and develop automated test scripts utilizing approved automation frameworks
Support automation strategy and continuous testing initiatives
Maintain and enhance automated testing processes and standards
Defect Management & Quality Governance
Track, document, and manage defects through resolution
Maintain testing metrics, issue logs, and quality reports
Review and validate vendor testing deliverables
Ensure compliance with established testing standards, governance processes, and industry best practices
Collaboration & Project Support
Partner with developers, architects, business analysts, and project teams
Communicate testing outcomes, risks, issues, and recommendations to stakeholders
Participate in reviews, walkthroughs, and testing governance activities
Support project delivery through all phases of the SDLC
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control
5+ years translating business requirements into test cases and test scenarios
3+ years of experience with Selenium, Sahi Pro, or similar test automation frameworks
Experience designing and developing automated test scripts
Strong knowledge of formal test design methodologies including:
Equivalence Class Partitioning
Pairwise Testing
Experience with test design tools such as PICT or similar solutions
Familiarity with quality frameworks such as:
TMMI
CMMI
SPICE
TPI
Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or healthcare-related field (or equivalent QA experience)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting large enterprise applications
Healthcare or Medicaid systems experience
Knowledge of HIPAA EDI transactions and X12 standards
Experience with Jira and Confluence
Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall environments
Work Environment
Fully onsite in Columbia, SC
Candidates must currently reside in South Carolina or be willing to relocate prior to starting at their own expense
